About the Business
ECS, one of the leading cleaning agencies was founded in 1953, and combines traditional values of customer care, highly focussed quality of service with modern technology and the latest cleaning product s and tools. The firm is currently owned by Managing Director Paul Armstrong, who inherited the firm from his father-in-law in 1979. Paul, a keen golfing Geordie native, who came to Scotland over 40 years ago said of ECS.
We offer daily office cleaning, window cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, hygiene cleans in toilets and washrooms, floor cleaning, roof light cleaning, wall and ceiling cleaning, and new building cleans.
As you may imagine for a company so experienced in this industry, ECS and its staff are fully trained and hold all appropriate Health & Safety certificates including Institute for Occupational Health & Safety (IOSH), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH), and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). We hold comprehensive public liability insurance.
We are members of key professional bodies – the Federation of Window & General Cleaners as well as the Brittania Safe Contactor Scheme which keep us abreast of legal changes in safety law for example as well as new equipment and product developments.
