About the Business

Starting out as a professional cleaner for the NHS at Ayrshire Central Hospital around 22 years ago. Learning quickly that there had to be strict cleaning procedures and processes in place to negate the risk of cross-contamination and the spread of infection.

Over the years, throughout my cleaning journey, I have learned that some commercial locations require the use of coloured coded clothes, normally red for toilet bowls, yellow for wash basins, sinks & washroom surfaces areas, green for food surfaces and blue for general low risk cleaning such as office desks etc.

The use of colour coded cloths, mops, buckets, aprons and gloves is generally regarded as "Good Practice" and is encouraged by "The British Institute of Cleaning Science" (BICs).

In addition, general health and safety was and is of paramount importance. H&S is obviously a vast and sometimes complex subject, but as far as cleaning goes in the commercial environment, I can provide risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and also a COSSH register (control of substances hazardous to health) again with relevant risk assessments if required.

After some years I moved onto landlord end of tenancy cleans, a type of deep cleaning, and then more recently I decided to offer a wider range of high-quality cleaning services.
